OUR SERVICES
Digital X-Ray
State of the art Digital X-ray technology will be used to produce a high quality diagnostic image for the best possible comfort and care.
Athletic Mouth Guards
Athletic (sports) mouth guards should be used in any activity that could cause injury to the mouth. A model of your teeth is made from an impression that is taken in the dental office. A professional dental laboratory makes the mouthguard from that model. A custom mouthguard offers good protection and a comfortable fit.
Nitrous Oxide
Nitrous Oxide sometimes called “laughing gas”, is a safe and effective sedative that is inhaled through a small mask fitting over your nose. It is not intended to put you to sleep but to simply help you relax. The effects wear off immediately.
Snore Guards
A snore-guard is an appliance that positions the jaw forward helping to keep the airway open. It helps to fight the negative health effects of Obstructive Sleep Apnia and the nuisance of snoring. These devices work well for patients who are unable to tolerate C-PAP therapy.
Veneers
Veneers are a thin layer of porcelain that covers the front side of the tooth. They are used to alter the shape of teeth, cover teeth with dark stains that can’t be bleached, ad correct uneven spacing. Veneers are ideally placed on teeth that have never had fillings. People who clench or grind their teeth are not good candidates for veneers.
Implant Dentistry
Dental implants are an effective way to replace missing teeth and are used to stabilize loose dentures and partials. They are made of titanium which is compatible with the human body. Once determining that you are a good candidate for dental implants, a qualified surgeon would place the implant in the jaw bone. After the implant has healed and integrated with the jaw bone, your dentist would have the replacement tooth or denture made.
Porcelain Crowns
Crowns are recommended for teeth that have very large fillings, that have had root canal therapy, and teeth that are discolored or poorly shaped. A crown covers a tooth to restore it to its normal size, shape, and function. It is designed to make the tooth stronger or improve the appearance of the tooth.
Teeth Whitening
Restoring the natural shade of your teeth requires simply removing the stains on the surfaces due to stain causing factors like red wine, tobacco, tea, and coffee. The build-up of plaque and calculus also causes discoloration. Regular cleanings by a dental professional as well as good oral hygiene at home keeps teeth as white as their natural shade.
To whiten beyond the natural shade, bleaching is recommended. A custom-fitted whitening tray ensures that every angle of every tooth whether teeth are straight or not, is evenly covered by the product. No all shades of teeth accept bleach well. Your dental professional can help you determine if you would benefit from bleaching.
